heart project
We pursue our heart project out of deep passion, personal motivation and strong conviction.
The last few years in particular have shown us that the world is upside down. There are crises and problems wherever we look. Somehow we don't seem to have found any viable solutions to these challenges. It almost seems as though many things that we thought gave us security are dissolving and that brings with them instability. It's no wonder that many people feel like victims of these circumstances. Is it really true that we have no options and are victims of the current circumstances? Or can we, despite everything, use our potential to break new ground and shape our own lives - and if so, HOW? We have often been thinking about these questions over the last three years. We found the following quote from Buckminister Fuller very inspiring:
"You don't change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, you have to create a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."
We made a conscious decision to focus on the beautiful, the unifying and on solutions. To do things that are important to us, that are fun and that make sense to us. We are aware that there are things that we cannot influence, but also a lot that we have control over. We wanted to be creative and create something completely new, something that inspires and moves us - our heart project. Since we love hiking together, exploring nature and picking mushrooms, we noticed that these rootless plants are connected via rhizomes in the ground and form a huge network whose parts are linked. There is no current state, but rather a continuous growth and networking. This example from nature impressed us so much that the idea arose to develop a joint project with a rhizomatic structure. This could lead to different, holistic projects and collaborations that are beneficial for everyone. Everyone involved supports each other and thus creates a win-win situation. The aim is to strengthen one's own self-efficacy, to shape one's career and life according to one's own needs and to be able to grow in a community of connection and trust.
We are looking forward to many exciting and enriching encounters and projects, to growing and networking together. We have taken our first steps towards implementing our heart project, but we don't yet know where the journey will take us.
The non-slip GeMa Shiatsu & Balance Stick and also the small and practical GeMa Stick were the result and the beginning.
Replanting trees is very important to us! We live from nature and love nature, so we want to plant trees to give back to nature what has been taken away.
Our start-up project, the YEW: On Monday, March 18, 2024, 25 GeMa yews were delivered to Hallegg. During the course of this week, almost at the same time as our shop opening on March 24, 2024, the young trees were planted in the Hallegg nature reserve .
We plan to invest 8% of our income in projects that benefit nature and people.
Sincerely
Gerald & Marion
